Dystopian Wars pics

Whoops. I realised I hadn't posted the Dystopian Wars pics from last year November / December. I was in a rush, so used my phone camera.

Almost done. Need to do final highlighting, then basing.
Excuse the photos - taken in a rush this morning with my phone.

Finished it complete with basing 23 February.

Galleon continued

So The Galleon continues.

Done with the legs. The grey spot on the top is where I stuck Prestic (Blue Tack) down so that when the whole thing is glued together later, it's a resin to resin bond, not paint to paint.

The legs by themselves:

Legs with the Mariner Warjack (thats a HEAVY warjack!!!)

Legs with a normal sized Warcaster:

Whole lot with the top half balanced on top, so show the size:

Warmachine Galleon

So my Galleon arrived. Dispatched from Wayland games on the 29th January, picked it up on Saturday 9th. It was a LONG two weeks to wait.

BIG Model. Couple of flash issues, but nothing overly major. Having read the PP forums for tips and tricks REALLY helped. The chain / gear pully bit connecting to the Trident are a particular nightmare if you don't do it in a specific sequence.

All the resin parts laid out ready for their bath.

The biggest gap in the resin:

Legs sub assembly:

Body and legs together. Body is just balanced ontop.

I got so excited about doing the rest, forgot to take more photos. I've finished assembling the whole thing. 4 major components: Left arm, Right arm, body and legs. Base coat is currently drying, so will post some more pics later in the week.

Witchfate of Tor, aka The Tower of Frustration

So, I finished painting my Witchfate of Tor tower. Talk about a NIGHTMARE assembly. Took 3 nights to assemble. Why oh why Games Workshop have these weird round pieces that you have to carve huge chunks off to make it round, I just don't know.
Then once you get it round you have to pin it to stop the floors sliding off each other - there are no locking rods / pieces at all.

Anyway, it's done.
