Colossals

So following on from my post about the Warmachine Colossals I found a size comparison photo when browsing the Interwebs.

WOW!!! Just, WOW!!!!

Say it with me:
WARMAHORDES GOT A TITAN!!! WARMAHORDES GOT A TITAN!!! WARMAHORDES GOT A TITAN!!! WARMAHORDES GOT A TITAN!!! WARMAHORDES GOT A TITAN!!! WARMAHORDES GOT A TITAN!!!

(I'm a little excited about these).

Apocalypse game - 11 March 2012

So a very enjoyable Apocalypse game was played in Tokai on the 11th March. Scenarios was mostly used from of the Forgeworld books. It’s a central area defended with a force. The attacking forces come from either end, and have approximately double the defenders total. In our case, as defenders, we have 8000 points.

Notice the Vortex grenade cause mayhem (middle of pic, on left side)

On an interesting note, the Leman Russ and Basilisks fired (in the last round) 26 die rolls at the Titan. Not a single 6. I might say something about Karma slapping opponent around, but hey, use it, don’t use it.

Awesome game, awesome company, day playing Wargames. Nice.

Vindicators

Three Vindicators I painted last night. Almost done. Just got some detailing on the top to do.

They’ll be used occasionally for normal games, but mainly as Line Breaker Squadron in Apocalypse.

Titan interior photo's

Some new photo’s of the Titan’s interior / cockpit area.

Apologies about the quality – taken with a cell phone. Will update with clearer photo’s once the Titan is in my hands.

Now to think up a name....

Warmachine: Retribution army list

So my "chesse" army list for Retribution of Scyrah is below.
It was the first time I've EVER ordered just the figures for an army list. I normally go mental, order a bucket load of stuff that looks cool / might someday make it into the list, and use a small percentage of it.

So, here goes:
Warcaster:
Kaelyssa -7

Warjacks:
Hydra 9
Chimera 6
Gorgon 5
Phoenix 10

Unit:
Mage Hunter Strike force 5
Mage Hunter commander 2
Mage Hunter Strike force 5
Mage Hunter commander FREE

Solos:
Arcanist 1
Eiryss Mage hunter of Ios 3
Ghost Sniper 2
Mage Hunter Assasin 2
Narn Mage hunter of Ios 3
Nayl - Mage hunter souless solo 2

Total is 50 points, all painted. :)

It's a Tier 4 list, meaning all sorts of fun bonus things happen.

I did cave and have also got a unit of Battle Mages for fun. 5 extra points.
